Local pour · checked 2026-09-03
Fort Worth drinks like Cowtown with a cocktail shaker. Drovers trailed more than four million head of cattle through town between 1866 and 1890, and in 1917 the Stockyards were the largest horse and mule market in the world — that is the Stockyards' own history, and the brick barns still stand. The local pour follows the map: whiskey and ranch water in the Stockyards, $6 cocktails downtown, half-price martinis in West 7th, discount margaritas on South Main.
The Stockyards pour
Provender Hall in Mule Alley posts Happy Hour Monday–Friday 2–6, and the venue's own happy-hour post lists $8 Old Fashioned, $9 Margarita, $8 Ranchwater, $5 glasses of The Seeker red or white, dollar off all beer, $11 deviled eggs, $12 pimento cheese, and $9 cup of gumbo. Ranch water and an old fashioned in a 1912 mule barn is the most Fort Worth order on this list.
Downtown's $6 cocktail
Little Red Wasp at 808 Main Street posts Happy Hour daily 4–6: $5 local draft, $6 cocktails, $7 select wines, and $10 bites including deviled eggs, ranch dip, pimento dip, and LRW meatballs. On South Main, Tinie's at 113 S Main St posts Happy Hour 4–6 Monday–Friday: $4 off all cocktails and $3 off all appetizers — the margarita play south of downtown.
West 7th social hour
Social House at 840 Currie St posts Social Hour 3–6: 1/2 priced martinis & frozen drinks, $4 wells, $2 off any wine by the glass, $2 off any draft beer, and 1/2 off select starters & flatbreads. The specials calendar repeats that block Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
